A primeira banda de folk metal foram os Skyclad. Hoje em dia temos os Eluveitie, Cruachan,Korpiklaani entre muitos outros.

O folk metal é bastante popular em países como Noruega, Finlândia e Suécia onde sofrem bastante influência do black metal

gosto tanto que tenho album original, camiseta da banda, chifre de copo e etc xD
